GlobalCom PR Network welcomes Medicom Group and expands expertise in the healtcare market
Healthcare specialist Medicom Group has signed up to the GlobalCom PR Network to drive its expansion into the international healthcare market.

The GlobalCom Network is a worldwide group of independent PR and marketing comms agencies. The network's headquarters are in Brussels, Belgium and it has more than 40 global partners and affiliated agencies.

'GlobalCom is not a loose network of agencies. It is a formal business with partners paying for the marketing and administration of the global organisation,' said Medicom Group chairman Martin Ellis.

Medicom Group is charged with building the network's international and European healthcare practice. The agency will work to build expertise in key markets lacking in healthcare PR experience.

It also puts us in a position to compete with public agency networks such as Omnicom and WPP for accounts,' said Ellis.
