Business Platform GlobalCom PR Network

Holmes Report Another client win for GlobalCom: Network agencies in EMEA, Asia-Pacific and North America will support the global rollout of the new mobile business platform ZNAPTM. MPayMe, the Hong Kong company behind ZNAPTM, has hired GlobalCom to lead corporate and B2B PR duties for ZNAPTM, which provides merchants with secure multi-channel mobile payments with value added services such as loyalty integration, business intelligence, geo-location in-app consumer communication, offer marketing and much more. The UK’s CCgroup will lead the account, supported by GlobalCom PR partners PR People in Hong Kong and Jennifer Connelly Public Relations in the U.S. The story of this latest PR assignment of the GlobalCom PR network is now live in the Holmes Report.

The challenge for the newly assigned PR agencies is differentiating ZNAPTMfrom rival platforms and stressing the added value it offers. Furthermore, the agencies will also need to communicate the merits of mobile business in general. According to a recent survey conducted by MPayMe, only ten percent of UK smartphone users have used mobile wallets.

Richard Fogg“ZNAPTM has the potential to shake up the world of mobile commerce,” said Richard Fogg, Managing Director of CCgroup, GlobalCom’s UK tech lead. “ZNAP has a genuinely unique solution that is, unlike most of its competitors, finally of use to merchants and consumers alike. ZNAP’s ambition is to challenge the market by creating a new category of mobile services for merchants.”

“The agencies’ expertise, industry insights and customer orientation won the deal – and the global presence of the network has come as another bonus: “We are an ambitious brand and we wanted an ambitious agency,” added David Pipe, CMO of MPayMe. “From the start, it was clear that GlobalCom understood what we wanted to achieve and had the ideas and experience to take us there.”
